Hotels and private villas
Hotel choices, a private villa or host-based stays can be combined with guided rides, airport transfers, premium-quality carbon road bike hire or storage for your own bike, guided and supported rides, plus non-cycling activity ideas and support for partners and family members.
The accommodation is selected as part of the complete cycling experience rather than as a separate booking. Location, breakfast timing, secure bike space, recovery comfort and access to restaurants or the coast all influence how easy the week feels. The goal is to give riders and non-riders a base that works before, during and after every ride.
Never Just a Ride does not treat accommodation as an afterthought. Where you stay affects how quickly you can get on the road, how well you recover, where the group meets, what non-riders can do and how the whole week feels. A good base in or around Jávea gives you access to the coast, local cafés, restaurants and the roads leading towards the mountains.
For training camps, practical details matter. Riders need space for bikes, a sensible morning routine, access to food and the ability to rest properly between harder days. For more relaxed road cycling holidays, the emphasis might be on views, comfort, restaurants, beaches and the general atmosphere of the place. The accommodation choice should match the purpose of the trip.
Private villas are often a strong option for clubs and groups of friends because they keep everyone together. They can make the trip feel more relaxed and can work well for mixed ability groups, where some riders return earlier and others complete a longer route. Hotels can be better for couples, smaller groups or riders who want less organisation around meals and daily logistics.
Stay with your hosts
For smaller groups or individuals, you may wish to stay with your hosts at Never Just a Ride. We can offer apartment-based accommodation as part of your cycling package, sleeping up to six guests (based on sharing double rooms), with access to our large pool, your own separate kitchen and ample outdoor social space. Whatever your choice, we can make it happen.
Non-riding partners and family members should also be considered. Jávea is not just a cycling base; it is a holiday destination with beaches, coastal walks, restaurants and a relaxed Mediterranean feel. Choosing the right location can make the trip enjoyable for everyone, not only the riders.
Accommodation can be combined with guided rides, self-guided route files, transfer advice, bike hire support and local recommendations. The aim is to make the stay feel coherent: you arrive, know where the bikes go, understand the ride plan and can enjoy the destination without losing time to small problems that should have been solved before the trip began.
Support can also be adapted for guests travelling with their own road bikes. Secure storage, arrival and departure logistics, access to local workshop help and sensible space for assembly can be considered before the booking is confirmed. Riders hiring locally can instead have the bike arrangements aligned with the first and final day of the trip.
For groups with non-cycling guests, location becomes even more important. A well-chosen base gives partners and family members easy access to beaches, walks, cafés, markets and local activities while the riders are on the road. This helps the trip work as a shared holiday rather than a cycling camp that only suits part of the group.
